Supplier Portals
Automating wholesaler ordering has always come with a bill attached: an EDI or API integration, built per wholesaler, priced and maintained — or a PMR system that bundles that integration in and charges a premium for it. Ordering automation is one of the reasons pharmacies pay significantly more for a PMR at all.
VeriPath Pharmacy does the same job without either, and without that premium. The order satellite is a small helper that runs on the pharmacy's own PC and drives the wholesaler portals you already use — setting the exported order file into the portal, or filling the portal's own quantity grid. Nothing changes on the wholesaler's side, no credential is handed to anyone, and the pharmacy orders as it does today: the only difference is that the app does the typing.

On in minutes, with a few addresses
Switching it on is the Business Manager's job, and it is short work: for each wholesaler, enter the address of the portal view where orders are created and placed, note what that page takes, and record when you saw it. That is the whole configuration — a handful of addresses, no credentials, no scripting, nothing installed. The satellite screen then shows each supplier's state at a glance: ready, or what is still missing.
The order file lands where it belongs
Two routes exist at a wholesaler's portal and the satellite handles both: the portal's own upload control, into which the file the app just exported is set; or the portal's quick-order grid, into which the item codes and quantities are typed. It then stops, before any submission. The order is sent by the person, exactly as they send it today — and what the portal receives is the file the app produced, not a re-keyed copy.

Price files arrive without being hunted
The same mechanism runs in reverse: the satellite activates the portal's own download control, catches exactly one new file, and hands it to the app's price-file page, where the operator confirms the import. The latest wholesaler prices arrive with the order routine, so the offers in the ordering view stay honestly dated without anyone remembering to fetch a file.
Nothing to lose, because nothing is held
The satellite carries no credential and no supplier list of its own; everything it needs it reads from the page in front of it. It never signs in, never submits, never navigates a portal, never sends anything anywhere and never writes to the app. It refuses any page that is not one of your recorded portals, and it refuses a live wholesaler configuration outright rather than learn on a real account: it has been proven against our own synthetic wholesaler portals, and the app cannot yet see what happened on the PC after the hand-over.

What this means for the pharmacy
- No integration project, no per-wholesaler API. Ordering automation without the build that normally comes with it.
- No premium system required for it. The capability is part of the platform, not an add-on.
- No wholesaler password to lose. None exists anywhere in the system.
- The human still sends the order. Nothing reaches a wholesaler that a person did not send.
