Health Clinics
VeriPath runs a clinic's day from the diary to the accounts: what the patient came in with, what the clinician recorded, what was ordered from the laboratory, what was charged, and what the insurer still owes — in one system, on infrastructure you control.
The clinic's day
- Appointments — the clinic's list and each clinician's schedule, with the reason for the visit, the outcome and the patient's reminder.
- Symptoms, coded or in plain words — the search settles on the right SNOMED concept where a code helps, and takes free text where it does not.
- Medical notes — one note per appointment: the coded diagnosis or problem with its site, side and severity, and a single narrative held encrypted and read-only once saved.
The laboratory
- Blood tests & The Doctor's Laboratory — log the order from the patient's record, and the laboratory's report files itself against the right patient, with each result's range and any abnormal flag.
The money follows the work
- Accounting — a real set of books on ERPNext, raised by the clinic app as the work is done rather than keyed in at month end, and any list or report exports as a CSV file for the accountant's own software.
- Insurance claims & shortfalls — every insured appointment's claim in one queue with its policy, pre-authorisation and clinical codes; the file the clearing house takes; and the balance the insurer did not cover taken from the card the patient left on file.
Patient Management
Appointments
Book, move and track appointments in one diary — the clinic’s list and each clinician’s schedule, with the reason for the visit, outcomes and patient reminders.
Recording Symptoms
Record what the patient came in with: a SNOMED-coded reason where a code helps, plain text where it does not, straight onto the appointment.
Prescriptions

A full set of books on ERPNext, fed by the clinic app as the work is done — and any list or report exported as a CSV file for the accountant’s own software.
Insurance claims & shortfalls
Every insured appointment’s claim in one queue with its codes, the XML export for the clearing house, the patient’s shortfall taken from the card on file, and both halves posted to the books.
